Daybreak is a national British morning television programme broadcast on ITV. It is presented live from The London Studios and contains a mixture of news, entertainment, weather and feature items. In March 2014, ITV announced that the show will end later in 2014 to be replaced by Good Morning Britain (a name which harks back to the original Good Morning Britain programme, the UK's first commercial weekday breakfast television programme broadcast by the then Channel 3 breakfast franchisee TV-am). Good Morning Britain made its debut on 28 April 2014.

Daybreak is a news, lifestyle and entertainment magazine programme interspersed with celebrity interviews, consumer and health items and reports from locations around the UK. The programme is normally on air Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 08:30 with a shorter edition aired at Bank Holiday periods. In September 2012, the programme was split into two sections, similar to that of GMTV Newshour and GMTV Today on predecessor GMTV. From 6 May 2013, the presenters were introduced with a live voiceover on the hour, reviving the GMTV-style format.
