Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell is an English A&R executive, television producer, entrepreneur, and television personality. He is on of many British talent shows such as Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor. Simon is also the current owner and manager of Syco Entertainment.

He is known in the United Kingdom and United States for his role as a talent judge on TV shows such as Pop Idol, The X Factor UK, Britain's Got Talent and American Idol. He is also the owner of the television production and music publishing house Syco. He has recently appeared as a judge on the sixth series of Britain's Got Talent and the second season of The X Factor US. In 2004 and 2010, American magazine Time named Cowell one of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2010, British magazine New Statesman listed Cowell at number 41 in a list of "The World's 50 Most Influential Figures 2010". He has also signed boyband One Direction to his label after they were placed third in the seventh series of The X Factor in 2011 and the group have now gone on to top charts worldwide.
