Timothy Zachary Mosley, better known by his stage name Timbaland, is an American record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter and DJ. Timbaland's production credit fully started in 1996 and onwards, working with artists such as Jay-Z, Rihanna, Drake and so on.
Biography[]
Timbaland began his production career in the early 90's for R&B artists such as Aaliyah and Missy Elliot and later in the early 2000's began to produce for pop artists such as Jennifer Lopez. Aside from production, Timbaland also released his own albums, including collaborations with big artists.[1]
Timbaland's first album, Tim's Bio: Life from da Bassment, was released in 1998 on the Blackground Records label. Although credited as an individual work by Timbaland, the album included a collection of songs previously released with the producer and featuring guest vocals such as Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Playa and Skillz, Nas, Jay-Z, Twista and others.
